Snap Circuits® Mini Kits: Great Toys Come in Smaller Packages
Wheeling, IL – August 14, 2006 - Elenco® Electronics, Inc., continues to expand it’s Snap Circuits® line of fun and educational electronic toys with five new Mini Kits, the Musical Recorder, FM Radio, Music Box, Space Battle and Flying Saucer. These Mini Kits range from $14.95 to $21.95.
- The Musical Recorder (SCP01) Mini Kit records for up to eight seconds using an integrated circuit. Simply press a button for playback. You can erase and record thousands of messages. Going to play at a friend’s house? Leave a message for your parents to listen to when they return. The recorder allows you to play three prerecorded songs and also has a volume control option. Suggested Retail Price: $21.95
- Build an FM Radio (SCP02) out of Snap Circuit parts. The radio will scan from 88MHz to 108MHz. By altering the circuit slightly you can play an electronic kazoo or trombone over the speaker. Suggested Retail Price: $21.95
- The Music Doorbell (SCP04) circuit features several prerecorded songs at the touch of a button. The circuit can be altered to act as a musical doorbell and a momentary alarm. Suggested Retail Price: $14.95
- In the Space Battle (SCP05) circuit the sounds of a space war can be heard complete with bombs, explosions and laser zaps. Suggested Retail Price: $14.95
- In the Flying Saucer (SCP06) Mini Kit a plastic fan is projected in the air by the motor simulating the flight of a flying saucer. The circuit can be altered to create strobe lighting or a fan. A cardboard cutout can be taped to the motor to create a hypnotizing effect when the fan spins. Suggested Retail Price: $14.95
