SC-ROV10 to SC-ROV50 Upgrade Kit

The UC90 Disc Launcher and Sound Recording Device for the Snap Circuits RC Rover is now available.

This upgrade for existing RC Rover owners allows you to record space sounds and voices on your Sound and Recording Module. The Sound and Recording feature allows you to adjust and modify a variety of sounds using different resistor and capacitor values. You can change pitch and frequency and make recordings of your own voice for up to 12 seconds.

This upgrade allows you to vary and control the brightness of the LEDs. You can build a metronome and adjust the click rate to sound like a musical beat or a continuous tone. You can also make the lights and tone blink and sound in unison and make your Rover sound like a car alarm going off.

The disc launcher snaps onto your Rover and will carry 15 foam discs that fire from the launcher. The disc launcher has a set of beady red eyes that light and flash when the launcher is engaged by the touch of a button on the remote control hand set. Press the button again and the launcher starts shooting its discs. The upgrade allows you to build a double launcher using a capacitor that simulates a longer hold on the launch button, shooting two discs instead of one.
