Wheeling, IL – August 21, 2006 – The Kids Kreation Website is used to encourage kids to learn and experiment with their electrical Snap Circuits® kits, as well as to form a community of Snap Circuits® enthusiasts who can exchange ideas. The site can be found at: http://snapcircuits.net and offers a list of projects designed by Snap Circuit® users giving them credit for their inventions.
There is also a Snap Circuits® Designer that is available for download. This feature allows the user to drag and pull electrical parts onto a grid and construct an image of the invented circuit. Instructions show how the Designer is used. Once the circuit is constructed the image can be emailed to the Engineering Department at Elenco® where it will be tested. If the circuit works well and is unique to existing Snap Circuits® manuals and those previously posted on the website the inventor will receive his first name and the town they live in beside their circuit on the website. Some submitted circuits have been impressive enough to be added to updated manuals where the inventor gets the same credit.
