Sales for Elenco indicate an increase in demand for the upcoming holiday season. Demand for the quarter ending September 30, 2004 was 58 percent higher than the quarter ending September 30, 2003. These figures reinforce trends Elenco has seen over the last several months. The sale of Snap Circuits has increased more than three times between Elenco’s 2nd and 3rd quarter.
Over the past two years Snap Circuits has expanded from its original 100 building circuits (Snap Circuits, Jr.) to the Snap Circuits 300 and Snap Circuits 500 Pro. Elenco is now introducing the Snap Circuits 750 Extreme. Upgrade kits are available for all versions of these electrical building kits. Snap Circuits are also available with a computer interface and in school editions with teacher and student guides.
New agreements with several large retail chains have bolstered Elenco’s figures as have continued growth in the homeschooling and education markets.
